Mock (3/3)

Figured it's been a while.

Assumptions:

1. S Eric Berry is placed on NFI list and is paid something harmless to our cap.

2. The Chiefs extend WR Dwayne Bowe 3 years, $22m ($12m guaranteed), OLB Tamba Hali 3 years, $15m (8m guaranteed), S Ron Parker 3 years, 17m (5m guaranteed).

3. OLB Josh Martin is tendered.

4. The Chiefs sign the following players to minimal deals: TE Demerius Harris, ILB Josh Mauga, S Kelcie McCray, LS Thomas Gafford

5. The Chiefs cut: QB Chase Daniel, DE Mike DeVito, ILB Joe Mays.

6. The Chiefs let walk: RB Joe McKnight, WR Jason Avant, WR Junior Hemingway, WR Frankie Hammond, TE Richard Gordon, OT Ryan Harris, OG Jeff Linkenbach, OG Mike McGlynn, C Rodney Hudson, DE Kevin Vickerson, CB Chris Owens, S Kurt Coleman

7. The Chiefs sign the following free agents: TE Lance Kendricks (Rams) 2 years, $5m, ILB Chris White (Patriots) 1 year, $1m, NT Kendrick Ellis (Jets) 2 years, $4m.

8. Compensatory picks: 3rd, 5th, 5th, 7th

On with the show:

1.18. WR Dorial Green-Beckham, Missouri

It's very possible the Chiefs choose Cedric Ogbuehi, but the tackle depth is great in this draft. DGB offers measurables that a measurables-whore like Dorsey can't turn down.

2.49. OT Donovan Smith, Penn State

Smith played EXTREMELY well at the Senior Bowl, which Dorsey greatly values. Smith has LT potential, but could be poised as an All Pro caliber RT in the NFL. Good athleticism, and great arm length.

3.80. QB Bryce Petty, Baylor

If Petty somehow falls towards the third round, he does offer several of the measurables Andy Reid values.

3.100. ILB Stephanie Anthony, Clemson

One of the best, if not THE best, athlete at the ILB position this year.

4.115. OT/G Laurence Gibson, Virginia Tech

An extremely good athlete with great arm length.

5.154. WR Ty Montgomery, Stanford

Awesome playmaker but has major issues that will need significant coaching.

5.173. DT Xavier Williams, Northern Iowa

The Chiefs seem to love plucking these guys out of nowhere. Williams is a fantastic athlete who will need a season or two to get stronger.

5.176. CB Craig Mager, Texas State

Mager has great length and great speed, so of course Dorsey wants him.

6.195. RB Karlos Williams, Florida State

If Davis goes down, the Chiefs will need somebody with good size and power. Williams has elite size (6'1, 230 lbs) but non-elite speed (4.5 40), but who knows.

7.233. S Kyshoen Jarrett, Virginia Tech

7.255. C Max Garcia, Florida

The roster:

QB: Smith, Murray vs Petty
RB: Charles, Davis, Thomas, Gray, Williams
FB: Sherman

WR: Bowe, Green-Beckham, Wilson, Montgomery, Thomas
TE: Kelce, Kendricks, Harris

LT: Fisher, Smith
LG: Allen, Gibson
C: Kush, Allen, Garcia
RG: Fulton, Duvarney-Tardif
RT: Smith vs Stephenson vs Gibson

DE: Walker, Howard, Williams
NT: Poe, Ellis, Williams
DE: Bailey, Catapano

OLB: Hali, Ford
ILB: Anthony, White
ILB: Johnson, Mauga
OLB: Houston, Martin

CB: Smith, Gaines, Fleming, Mager, Cooper
S: Abdullah, Parker, Commings, McCray, Jarrett

K: Santos
P: Colquitt
LS: Gafford

You high on Kush, Sac?

Edit: And Fulton, for that matter.

No.

If Kush had any game at all, he'd have beaten out McGlynn or Linkenbach. When you can't beat out the two worst guards in the entire NFL, you suck.

And he's not a pure center. He's played left tackle at the college level. That's got to translate to LG better than "I'm a ****ing tomato can that couldn't beat out McGlynn or Linkenbach."

And Fulton is the slowest NFL offensive lineman I've ever seen. Feet in molasses. Obviously, Dorsey's Decision Lens OG matrix demands gigantic, slow as shit dudes because that's all they've brought in for the position. And I don't even mind Fulton. That's how bad everything else was. Fulton, by comparison, was, by and large, okay. That's bad. Because he wasn't good.

Hudson is the only guy worth a shit on the entire offensive line.

Fisher has insane potential and I think we'll see a huge jump this year now that he doesn't have to rehab injury fixes. The ****ing guy better anyway.

Stephenson is one of the most athletic guys I've ever seen at that size. Problem is, he's weak as shit, little girl weak, Stephen Hawking can kick my ass kind of weak without the 'roids. ****. How can that possibly be at that size? I mean his combine numbers were as good as I've ever seen from an offensive lineman. He's got great feet. Kick step is terrific. But he can't hold off a ****ing girl scout. Jesus H. Christ!

Allen sucks. He's sucked his whole career to date. I was hoping he'd have his break out year in 2014, but, apparently, the 'roids issued at the Bentley camp broke him and got Stephenson suspended.

And there is nobody backing up anybody on this line of suckassidness.

It ****ing sucks.

Because they are going to get in a pissing match with Hudson, he'll walk and we're going to be totally ****ed.

And that's a shame because if we had a line of 70%'ers, this team has a legit chance. Hudson is the keystone and he wants ****ing reerun money. Because he knows he's carrying this ****ing line to this point. I'd want it to if I was forced to work around suck suckbaggery. (****, I'm going in tomorrow and asking for a raise because I'm like ****ing Rodney Hudson of my work. Completely underpaid, over-performing and surrounded by ****ing reeruns. ****!)

Is it because they're in a pissing match or because they franchised Houston and are now more than $6.6 million over?

In what order (assuming Hudson can't be re-signed) would you have the 5 OL spots as most dire to most acceptable?

I dated Stephanie Anthony for a while. She was fire in the sack, I wondered what she'd been doing.

I know everyone liked the flashes they saw from Stephenson in 2013, but the dude is a bitch. Weak and pouty. He is a training camp casualty this year, imo. Especially given the depth at tackle in this draft.

I'd like Donovan Smith, Bryce Petty, StephONE Anthony, and Craig Mager. I'm just like Sac on the WTF wagon with most of the rest.

Any QB with back problems requires a thorough medical vetting.
