Computers Laptop is dying...

So I'm thinking of assembling a desktop at some point for fun shit, but could use a replacement laptop. Both running Windows because **** Mac.

Any deals to know about or things hardware wise to look for? I'd greatly appreciate the help.

Best Buy has great deals on desktop replacement laptops. They have decided to price most out of the market. I've bought my last two laptops there after buying from tigerdirect etc for years.

Not sure if that's the route I wanna go though. Anything with power is too big, and small ones aren't powered or cannot handle the power without overheating.

I miss Circuit City.. There you could an OOP closed box computer for 300-600 dollars new.. Best Buy and online sites just ship them back or never drop the price..

All I want is a early 2014 i7 desktop.. Should be available for around 300-500, with all the newer models.. But no..

I've been using a 18 in laptop for about 7 years now. They are not that heavy. Plenty of power and video card capabilities, Depends on how much you want to pay.

Just picked up a Dell XPS 12 XPSU12. It was on sale @ amazon.

Nice little laptop i7 processor, 8 gigs of memory and 256 gig SSD, only 3 pounds.

Not a desktop replacement, I don't know about gaming but powerful enough to do most things.
