Possibly getting married, what do I need to know about a prenup
No kids, only have cat, but have multiple properties and liquid assets. Plan on filing separately even if get married. What do I need to know?

I'd rather not give half of my net worth if we get divorced. Especially since I own many assets and she owns nothing except 5k equity on a 20k car. That is why I have never wanted to get married, I am too scared that everything I've worked so hard for will be for not if it didn't work out. I've heard so many horror stories I just won't do it if I don't get a prenup.

I just want to make sure the prenup is actually valid. I need to ensure that regardless of fault, if marriage broke down I would get EVERYTHING that I own back and not get ****ed.

I'm 32, and don't really want to get into exactly how much assets I have, but she has 150k of student loan debt and very little assets. I have about 160 times more assets than she has, while she has actually more debt than me. Seems like a prenup would be a no brainer.
