1-Gap DEs

Let's start looking at 1-gap DE's early, shall we? I'm not going to limit this on where we'll be drafting. I want to try and see what this board comes up with on who the best 3-4, 1-gap DEs could be in the draft. Think of this as a BPA only with 1-gap 3-4 DEs.

For some comparisons to pro players that would be ideal, I encourage people to break down film of JJ Watt, Justin Smith, and Cullen Jenkins (with GB) and then try to compare college players to the skills they consistently show that are comparable and physically match up.

I'll provide my own analysis after Thanksgiving probably, although I'll probably list a few guys I like without a breakdown before. Best of luck, comrades!

I have a homer pick - Zach Minter from Montana State. I haven't been able to go see any games this year, but he dominated the big sky conference in hiss sophomore and junior years. He was literally dominant in every single game I saw. Extremely explosive, quick off the line and just embarasses blockers.

Well, he's going to be first on my list of players to look at.

Sylvester Williams, 6'3 320 5.25

Probably projects more as NT but could possibly play the 1 or 3-tech in subs, enabling versatility with Poe.
