What's your favorite candy?

I'm partial to salt water taffy (the real stuff, not the shit from Wal-Mart) and Sifers Valomilk.

Im with you on the black licorice dollar tree has the Aussie stuff. In a pinch brachs or jelly belly black licorice jelly beans.

Sears or Jones store candy counter when I was a kid would pick out rock candy hahaha. My mom would get a little of orange slices and black licorice the rectangular extruded stuff and Id raid her bag after I was sick on pure sugar rock candy.

I remember in candy counters by the pound malted milk balls the size of golf balls. Whopper used to sell them in half gallon milk cartons now the malted milk has the artificial preservative after taste.

I believe Price Chopper carries bags of Mini Cherry Mash. Put them in a food processor, chop them up and use them as an ice cream topping. Really good.

Not sure if it counts as a "candy" but chocolate covered almonds are the one snack I cannot stop eating. You put a bag in front of me and I can't stop/won't stop. I'll eat every single one of those ****ers without hesitation. You put a family size bag in front of me and I'll laugh in your face and put Joey Chestnut to shame.

In addition I am partial to Hi-Chews lately. Way better than starburst and I seem to only be able to eat 8-15 at a time. Very addictive.

No need for that. As long as they are fresh and you don't eat the whole bag...it's all good.

maltesers are damn a good malt ball

sweeter than whopper. and the inner malt stuff melts when you stick your tongue in the hemisphere.

for malt balls, I go

1.Maltesers 2.Robins Eggs 3.Whoppers

but really, I think the Robins eggs are whoppers that get rejected due to size and shape irregularities

I like Nut Goodies from Minnesota and Goo Goo Clusters from Tennessee, but both are really hard to find here in KC. Nut Goodies are made by the same people who make the Pearson's Nut Roll, which is kind of like a Pay Day, but better.
