ESPN rates NFL franchises "Most Memorable Moment"

The Chiefs went yesterday and the obvious answer didn't even win (although it was one of 3 nominated and is running in 2nd place for some crazy reason). Teicher wrote the column so I'm not sure if he was the nominator for our candidates. If you want to see what is first, be prepared to be completely underwhelmed:

Incidentally we were the victims of another team's most memorable play. I've never heard of this play and the choice I would've made is running a close 2nd place to it:

Makes no difference now.

For some reason this made me laugh.

Just another in a long line of "throw your arms in the air" moment for the Chiefs.

If this franchise isn't snakebit/cursed, then nobody ever has been.

You mean losing our last 4 home playoff games after going 31-1 at home during those reg seasons?

Relatively younger than alot of you so my memories of Chiefs football include the Rain game against Seattle I think it was 98 or 99. Remember watching with my dad.

Dante Hall's many kick returns against Denver, Pittsburgh, Indi etc.

One of my greatest moments to me only because it was one of the last games I watched with my dad before he passed was DMC's punt return against SD Monday Night football few years back, We were going crazy.

At least Clark seems to be trying.

I was at that game ... watched at least one of the kicks miss by about a yard. I think that game was the beginning of the down fall of the Chiefs. Only my opinion ... but, had he made one of those, I'm convinced we would have won another SB. We were never the same after that. Dave Hill said the down turn was because of "old knees" on the artificial surface, but this loss was a contributing factor. Also, it gave Miami confidence that help build that team.

In the playoffs against SB champs Jets with the game on the line and Jets driving with 1st down inside the 10. Bobby Bell took over that series locking down Matt Snell then running Old Joe OOB's. Jets had to settle for a Field Goal and Chiefs went on to win 10-6.

Wish I could find highlights that series by Bell. This was memorable to me as I was 14 years old.
Agree that was memorable as well. The Jets had won the year before and were primed to win again. We had many tremendous defensive players who contributed to the championship.

Not a moment ... but that year Hank's strategy of allowing Oakland win in the regular season and then beating them in the playoffs was special. He was an innovative coach.

I don't believe in "karma," "superstition," "snakebit/cursed," but man ... it sure seems something has kept this team from winning a championship???

Keep in mind that series ended with a blocked punt.
