SSD Hard drives

How many of you have one in your computer?

I have a 2.5 yr old computer with one but my computer guy for some reason didnt put the operating system on it, so I heard Im probably not getting the full effect of it.

Im going to upgrade computers and going to buy another SSD, really only need a 128GB one. Ive been reading that you can keep archived files and stuff u dont really use very much on the regular HD with no problems. Anything I need to know? These things easy to put in and install by an idiot? (Me)

been running Mint OS (debian) on my 250GB 850 EVO, honestly haven't noticed a real difference in doing stuff from my Windows 2x7200rpm RAID0 HDD setup (other than the obvious OS bits) but I don't really hardcore play uber intensive games much these days anyway

The only difference you'll notice in games is loading times like switching zones in WoW, or loading a map in a fps game.

Lots of games stream world textures from the HDD as they are loaded into view distance etc. You will see massive improvements in that as well
