Boxed wine, what are your thoughts?

Anyone use these adult juice boxes much? Thinking about moving that direction for every-day drinkers and cooking, but would love to hear y'all's experience and suggestions. I've read some of them are pretty decent nowadays.

I used to be a big Cab. drinker and used to buy Black Box "Reserve" Cabernet Sauvignon . It was excellent and the local grocery store ran it on sale at the same price as their non reserve boxes. It was excellent, never would know it came out of a box. Then it was hard to find, then unavailable. Now they sell a Chilean Cab which I have not tried. They made a reserve Merlot that was great too. I have't had a box wine that I would say was good for years.

I don't drink much wine anymore but Trader Joe's and Jungle Jim's is where I go about once a year to find outstanding values on red's. I know Costco has great buys sometimes too

I'm not much of a white drinker buy my SO gets a Beringer "Main and Vine" White Merlot that she likes. It's great with salads.

Couldnt have said it better myself, the CVS here has a big bin near the checkout full of various styles in those little bottles... I'll go in there and grab one for a pot of red sauce, or some other kinda cooking

Thats about the extent of my wine usage

We drink a decent amount of wine. Probably 2-4 nights a week. I've never bought boxed wine myself but I have had it and it's as good as anything else out there.

I usually stick with bottles in the 4 to 12 dollar range.

I love the taste of beer. Good beer, not domestic macro-brewery yellow fizzy pisswater. I drink one or two/night throughout the week and several more than that on the weekend. I rarely ever get drunk...maybe 1-2 times/year.

We normally have a box of that stuff around in the summer, usually the Bota. With only the wife and I here at the shack in the woods, most times a bottle will go flat. I do have several bottles of low medium to medium range stuff that we'll open for a steak. In the summer, it's nice to have something you can just have a glass of.

I can't think of a ton of other things I'd rather drink than a good beer. There's no point in drinking unless you're gonna get drunk. People like you are the worst.

Picked up a Botabox of Nighthawk (a dark red blend) and the Pinot Grigio. The Nighthawk is OK. Haven't tried the pinot yet. Also picked up a little 500ml box of Black Box Pinot Noir.
