PFF cuts their own throat there.

By their own grading system, Kessler was a damn good quarterback. In real life he probably isn't.

So when you're using a bad metric to make a point, you should probably just have a seat instead, especially when said bad metric is your own metric.

He was, in an Alex Smith Kind of way. Good completion percent, low yards, low tds, good TD:INT.

That said, if he gets some legitimate weapons around him, perhaps he can be decent.

Biggest problem for Kessler was being scared to toss the long ball, which is ridiculous when Pryor was on the other end of it. Browns were 30 or worse in sacks taken and Kessler blames himself for it.

Notice this is 2014 Kessler.... Kessler's grade by them in 2015 fell off quite a bit if I recall. His 2014 was just a great great season. With that said, Kessler did an ok job in Cleveland I thought.
