Best Acting in a TV Scene

It seems to me that the acting quality has really picked up in some of these TV series. Post up scenes that have the best acting.

My nomination is when Arya leaves the Hound in Game of Thrones. Shouldn't need a spoiler, but I'll put it in one anyway.

Spoiler!

There are lots of good scenes from Game of Thrones, but there are other good acting jobs on TV. What are yours?

McConaughey in True Detectives was some of the best television acting, Brian Cranston is a close second.

Yep

I never thought of him as a bad actor, but I admit I didn't think he had the chops to handle a roll like that and act it as well as he did.

The Tyrion/Oberyn scene in Game of Thrones was really well acted I thought.

How is that show? I'm not going to pick up show time but if it's good I may buy the series.

Mad Men rules. When I first started watching, I was amazed they could do it with no music, effects nothing. Just writing, acting and sets.

In fact, I'm surprised the show took in the Duck Dynasty/Honey booboo era.

Andre Braugher gives one of the all-time best TV acting performances in the interrogation scene of the season one episode of Homicide: Life on the Street titled "Three Men and Adena." This interrogations scene is three actors, and it lasts basically the entire 40 minute long episode. Maybe its cheating to include a bottle episode as a scene, but I can't recommend this strongly enough. This is God-tier television.

It isn't on YouTube, but you can stream the whole episode here: http://gorillavid.in/hptr6e3d4zmh. The scene begins right after the opening credits (about 3 minutes into the episode)
