For those struggling to procure water, scrub your bathtub out and fill it... your hot water heater also has a substantial amount that can be drained out in a pinch

You can also hit the sporting goods store and pick up a Sawyer water filter like I have, even the mini filters 100,000 gallons... it can turn mud puddle water into potable water

I've a Big Berkey Filter System that will do that. I also have my rain tank which has water in it, I can filter if need be. It will have to be moved into shed or garage because it will blow away.

Those sawyer water filters are great . you can actually drink your own piss. So most people are cleaning out the bottled water at stores but you can actually just go to the liquor store and stock up on cases of beer and recycle it. Win win!

I've used my mini on vodka, it does seem to come out cleaner tasting

But yeah, $20 for a guaranteed 100,000 gallons of clean water... cant beat that, but people have to remember to backflush them with a little bleach water every few days
