I used to love BK, especially in the heyday of the $.99 Whopper [which actually not that long ago], but lately its been . . . bland. I don't know if they stopped seasoning their meat as much, or they pile the iceberg on too thick or what.
Angry Whopper is a improvement, but the magic isn't there like it used to be for me. Their value menu version of the McRib and their value burger with barbeque sauce and an onion ring are a good use of a buck. Wendy's, a least new one near me, still holds up. Their patties taste good and meatly. Buns are pleasant. The rest is pretty much standardized.

It is much like Taco Bell, if you see what the "food" is you wouldn't eat it. It's not really what it says it is...like the beef for instance...it maybe ground up hooves...that's beef alright. It will have you hitting the bathroom in 20 minutes because it's not meant to be ingested.

Taco Bell
Spangles (I actually just hate the idea of this place, and their commercials are the worst) KFC McDonald's Burger King Arby's Taco Tico (actually nothing against their food, but too many gang members working there) Popeye's Dunkin' Donuts Domino's Pizza (Don't care if they say it doesn't taste like cardboard now) Hardee's Zaxby's (never been inside one of these, just seems unappealing from the big chicken on the outside) Bojangles
