This is why everyone must pay before the season starts, or no team.

Major weaksauce exists in this thread. Whoever commished needs to nut up and call out the losers.

I hadn't noticed that this thread was active again....I got tired of getting no response from anyone so I figured I'd wait until baseball talk started up again ---- and here we are. I've attached what was the latest. I have 11 people accounted for as paid, including one, Tomie Lowry, that I don't have tied to a team name or an e-mail.

That leaves three unpaid. There are four teams in the picture that show as unpaid---again, I'm assuming one of them is Tomie. The attached tells the story.

This is two years in a row I've had to negotiate/babysit issues in the league, and I just don't know if it's worth it. I'm willing to give it one more go, but entry fees have to be in by draft time or you're out. I don't like having a "debt" to people at CP ---- it's not right to them and I don't like being put in the position of looking like I'm pulling a fast one in some way. I have money sitting in Paypal waiting to be paid out. I can still easily recalculate the allocation assuming three won't pay if that's what people feel is appropriate. I just didn't want to make a unilateral decision about money without the league's feedback.

I tried to do so during the season and after on the league message board. I also attempted it earlier in this thread. The difficulty is trying to reconcile the team name, e-mail address, CP handle and real names of people sending money via Paypal.

If anyone else would like to take the baton as commish, by all means, take it and run with it.

As for the payout from the season (assuming full entry fee total of $350), it's as follows:

Hostile Takeover (me) : $168
Big sticks equals : $154
Doom-Ace's : $28

Big sticks got 20% for winning the regular season, as well as 30% of the remainder for coming in 2nd in the playoffs.

I got 60% of remainder for winning playoffs

Doom got 10% of the remainder for coming in 3rd in playoffs

Pretty sure my bro and I will do this again....that said I still need to ask him and make sure he's interested again. In any case, I'd be down for another season for sure!

Do you know CP handles for those who haven't paid?

I'm out this year. I can only do fantasy baseball every couple years.

It was a fun league with a good commish.

Get money up front though, I was a late payer but still payed.
