KC had the worst graded run blocking OL in the NFL in 2009 with Larry Johnson.

They had the best run blocking OL in the NFL in 2009 with Jamaal Charles.

That alone shows their grades are badly flawed and dependent on the production of players around them. I don't think KC's OL suddenly became awesome in 2009. They just replaced a washed up clown with a star RB.

While pass protection is an important part of being an every down back I have to say that site is to harsh on how the rate the backs. Knile is young and he most likely will develop this part of his game as JC did. KC would have a excellent archive of game film to study Marcus Allen. MA was IMO the best pass protector in the history of the game. Just a thought Davis wouldn'd sniff the field if Marty still coached this team

Knile is the worst RB? If we could just find a few WRs as bad as he is we would be in great shape.

he also dropped 20% of the passes coming his way going into last Sunday which probably attributes to a chunk of it too

I don't have a problem with PFF, although I do think their ratings are rather bullshit... But it has become a way for certain people on this board to troll...

Nope.

I've never/will never write football articles for any website but Chiefsplanet (not that I'd classify my posts as articles).

PFF is great for stats.

But basing a player's ability on the grades they give is something only a morAn would do.
