It's already been talked about on here I thought- the incidences of hair loss when going through treatment after a 1st time is much lower. Don't ask me why but someone already verified that him not losing his hair doesn't mean he didn't resume treatment once the cancer returned.

I see Walt as a Vic Mackey type of character. His life is a continuous downward spiral. There are moments when his insane rationale makes complete sense and it could be for the common good or it could be for personal gain, you are never to sure. You want see things get right for him, to get out of that tailspin and get his life together or at least get a fresh start.

I guess that is why I pull for Walt. I would like to see the spiral stop, but I know it won't.

Flame on for rooting for the bad guy!

For some reason (I can't pinpoint exactly why), I have continued to pull for Walt...I don't know if it is because I like the character of Walt or if it is because I am a huge Bryan Cranston fan....? And for some reason, from the get-go, I have hated Hank and still do.

I had an interesting conversation about Hank with one of my co-workers. She came from a family of several cops, and apparently those guys were pretty arrogant assholes. She saw Hank's character in Season 1 and immediately hated him.

I've had no such experience with cops, and I always liked Hank and rooted for him. So I guess whether or not you like Hank is based at least partially on life experiences.

I'm also a huge Bryan Cranston fan. I think his portrayal of Walt's various personalities is pure genius. I think Bryan Cranston will be a fabulous Lex Luthor in the Superman/Batman movie, and I would NEVER have thought that after Malcolm in the Middle. That guy can just plain act.

That being said, I completely root against Walt. In my view he "broke bad" beyond the point of redemption, and I am rooting for Jesse to put him down in the finale. It's nice that he felt bad when Hank was gunned down, but it was pretty much 100% Walt's fault it happened, so he doesn't earn a lot of sympathy from me for his remorse. But at least he DID feel some remorse for that, unlike some of the other times in this show.

(Cue for Walt's defenders to jump in and say "But, but, but, everything he did was to survive!")

You apparently missed the "beyond the point of redemption" qualifier.

Even though he's gone way beyond the pale there's still part of me that wants him to somehow get away. I know he can't, really, but I don't find myself thinking, "I can't wait until they get Walt." It's part of what makes the show great. They want you to be conflicted. It's by design.
Yes, they're pushing Walt further and further into darkness, but they no doubt want at least some people, in some way, to want to see Walt keep going- keep getting "lucky". To win in some fashion.
But, but, herp derp, you're supposed to take a hard stance one way or the other!!

What are you trying to do here???
