The CHIEFS lost by one point to a cHarger team they beat by ten points in September. The CHIEFS still come out on top of the division due to the point differential tie breaker. Still on top looking down upon the cHargers! GO CHIEFS!

It’s how we lost man. Watch that 2 point conversion and still bring enthusiasm.

Gotta say yes, but Im not confident in it. If it comes down to protecting a one score lead late we will likely lose, but for at least one playoff game Im saying it wont come down to that.

Watkins LDT Irving Ware Benjamin getting up to speed Add that to the Chiefs team that has lost 3 games by a combined 7 points to 3 of the best teams in football with the refs against us in every game. This team can beat anyone in the NFL. |

QFT. The odds are in our favor. With all our playoff failures and one and dones, these things have a way of balancing out over time... Bob Sutton, the defence, and Andy Reid game management aside. I mean it's win one home game...

What is so hard about spelling Erving correctly? I have seen that as many or more times than people miss spelling Daniel when he was being discussed.

I do think we'll win one, but how deep we go with this defense is another matter...

Said another way, the division record and the common game record are the only two tiebreakers that can be relevant under all possible remaining scenarios. I think. |

Here is the schedule we've played, sorted by their current records:
Rams 11-2 (lost) Chargers 11-3 (lost, won) Patriots 9-4 (lost) Steelers 7-5-1 (won) Ravens 7-6 (won) Broncos 6-7 (won, won) Browns 5-7-1 (won) Bengals 5-8 (won) Jaguars 4-9 (won) 49ers 3-10 (won) Cardinals 3-10 (won) Raiders 3-10 (won) It's pretty clear where we slot in with those teams. We are right alongside the Ravens and Steelers - better than the bad teams, but not in the group of the league's best teams. We don't really have an outlying win or loss, except maybe the first Chargers win. We don't have a convincing win against a team with a winning record, either. You can look at the first Chargers game with all their unforced errors, the Ravens game where we needed a fourth down miracle to bail us out, or the Steelers game where Mahomes threw 6 touchdowns and played a perfect game and we still had to hold them off at the end. Regardless of whether we draw a worse team in the divisional round and manage to get a win, this just really isn't a year where we can say we compare with the class of the league yet. If anything we've probably overachieved and should have two more losses or so. It's not to say the franchise isn't headed in the right direction, but that reports we'd already arrived as Super Bowl contenders were greatly exaggerated. |

At this point I don't really care that much. I'm just happy we'll get to see Mahomes in a playoff game, and who knows, we can still get HFA and/or a first round bye. Getting the guy that kind of experience in his first year starting will be beneficial in the long run. Same for a lot of the players. We all know we're fatally flawed but then again, most playoff teams are.
