Fantasy Football Talk- 2017

Let's make a thread to shit talk and talk in general about this fantasy football season.

I myself have a hard time locating some good research materials and for one, don't want to spend a shit ton of time on it. By making this thread, I am actually spending more time on this fantasy football season than I usually do.

I have printed off some depth charts for WR and RB, which I think will help with the live draft and choosing players in mid to late rounds.

Anything else you guys keep handy for the live draft?

Post your teams and leagues here after drafting.

Good luck!!!

Hey online friends.

Had my rookie draft in my dynasty league in May -- traded up and took Mahomes since I have Rivers and Brees on my team.

I have a redraft on September 2nd. I wish I was able to find one more league.

Three is a good number.

You will notice I have the two best TEs in the league. This was a new league I got in and no one was taking them even when their point values had caught up to the WR values. They laughed when I took both of them. I laughed at them when I took both of them. Not only did I get guys that will perform as well as any WR I could have taken then, I made it so no of you could have a top tier TE. I got both of those as my 3rd and 4th pick as I picked last in the 10th position.

Matt Ryan Atl - QB

Golden Tate Det - WR

Devonta Freeman Atl - RB

Travis Kelce KC - TE

Rob Gronkowski NE - TE

Jay Ajayi Mia - RB

Ty Montgomery GB - RB

Justin Tucker Bal - K

Seattle Sea - DEF

Tyrell Williams LAC - WR

Cameron Meredith Chi - WR

Matthew Stafford Det - QB

Marvin Jones Jr. Det - WR

Jordan Matthews Buf - WR

Ted Ginn Jr. NO - WR

My draft this year. 10 team. Standard ESPN scoring. Strong on wides, weak on RBs. Hoping the sleepers do something for me there. My research this year was pretty sparse. Luck on the bench since he looks likely to miss the start of the year, I think Stafford should be a solid backup. We have one IR slot so I'll stash him there which allows me to pick another player when waivers clear Monday. Thinking of grabbing a D to stream so I don't have that NE matchup first week.

Matthew Stafford, Det*QB
Leonard Fournette, Jax*RB
Carlos Hyde, SF*RB
Odell Beckham Jr., NYG*WR
A.J. Green, Cin*WR
Jordan Reed, Wsh*TE**Q
Davante Adams, GB*WR
Chiefs D/ST*D/ST
Matt Prater, Det*K
BENCH
Allen Robinson, Jax*WR
Martavis Bryant, Pit*WR
Samaje Perine, Wsh*RB
Corey Davis, Ten*WR
D'Onta Foreman, Hou*RB
Jack Doyle, Ind*TE
Andrew Luck*, Ind*QB

Did the same thing a couple years ago. Our flex spot allows a TE/WR or RB so having 2 stud TEs is a nice thing. No worry on bye weeks and can play both if you need to. Gronk and Kelce both went around pick 20 this year so I had no chance on either unless I reached too early.

Hated my team when I first drafted. It's growing on me more now
11th pick in 12 team

Winston/Stafford
J Howard/B Powell/Hunt/Marlon Mack/Blount/Smallwood
M Thomas/Jeffrey/Hill/Shephard
Henry
Bailey
Chiefs D

i almost hope Blount gets cut, and Smallwood wins the starting job. I really think Marlon Mack is a sleeper. Gore is ancient and Mack has looked really good so far.

Vance McDonald just got traded to the Steelers. My second TE is O.J. Howard right now. Do I make a move and swap the two? McDonald had some flashes last year and could be more dynamic in that Steelers offense. Howard is still largely an unknown.

I had Spencer Ware, Eric Decker and Eric Ebron. I ditched them for McFadden, C. Hogan and D. Amendola . Wanted K. Hunt but taken by another. Will ditch D. McFadden in 7 weeks for whoever.

I started a new league this season hosted at MFL where an owner can submit any line-up they want(10 required slots) but once you've used that player you can never use them again during the 17 week season.

So far we have 28 owners and are looking for more.I won't know payouts until I have a final number of owners but there will be a weekly high score pay-out as well.

We did this last season during the play-offs and it was quite entertaining.
