Favorite Sitcom of all time?

Some buddies and I were talking at work the other day about what the best sitcoms of all time were....we are all three from different generations, so there were quite a variety of names thrown out there. I'd like to get a broader opinion, and this site gets the most traffic out of any I visit.

So, lets hear your opinions. If the thread is well received and gets quite a few nominees, I'll try and create a poll later on of the top ten, so that we can narrow it down to one.

I'll start by mentioning Seinfeld and The Simpsons.

Seinfeld, I think got off to a slow start the first season or so, but really picked up and had a good run. Very nice finale too with lots of returning characters.

The Simpsons has really fell off the last decade or so, but in its first decade, it was really wonderful.

Family Guy has about ran it's course for me. The Cleveland Show and Am. Dad are horrible shows too. Am. Dad was funny like the first episode...that was about it.

yeah, it's probably my 2nd favorite now behind Modern Family.

I really liked how the flashbacks were constantly peppered with present day comments [some at a whisper, others raising in crescendo to halt the narrative] to keep you cemented in the fact that people were telling stories from their past.

I can never decide who my favorite character is. sometimes Winston cracks me up.

Nick in that episode was killing me when he was tripping on shrooms and thought the wall was magnetized to his hand.
and, from a pervious episode, how Winston calls Nicks dad "pop-pop"when the flashback when his dad gets them hookers., which drives nick insane.

I knew I remembered Nick from something else; he was Aaron Burr (I think) in one of the Drunk History clips on You Tube. Short short part, but I knew I recognized him.
