Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Pitt depends on Big Rapes health....it's been declining for a few seasons. If he hits the age wall...things will get interesting.

The NFL can only prop up a team so far...they made the 7-9 Raiders into 12-4 but couldn't officiate their way out of a broken leg.

We will see who is best come week 17, but for week one, KC should be at the top of the power rankings. Probably won't, though.

The best team in the AFC as of September 9, 2017? Sure, why not?

But, you know, September....

I'm not liking that Steelers D.

It looks young and old in all the wrong ways...

Stealing my predictions...imitation is the ultimate form of flattery.

Big Ben's final season...they will try to send him out with a trophy. If his health fails...I'm going with a Smith/Rodgers SB.

Better delete Cindy, and add Baltimore!

You have no idea the size of the house money I feel the Pats are playing with. Trust me, I'm laughing all the way to the bank in terms of how enjoyable my Patriots fandom has been. I'm not about to be butthurt over a bad loss in September.

Hell, Pats started 2-2 in at least two of their championship years that i can think of (2003 and 2014) and were something like 5-6 in 2001. Playing poorly early in the season isn't irrelevant, but it's hardly make or break.

The only reason losing to KC sucks is because it could affect home field in January.

"They" who? And if the NFL is fixed, why the hell do you watch?

Well, they do get to play in a shit division this year so that's probably 5 guaranteed wins.

But I don't really know if the hood pulls this one out. Tom looks old and the defense doesn't appear that good
