Is it childish to pick out (to consume) the cashews in mixed nuts - or say; the M&M's out of the trail-mix?

EDIT:
Allow me to clarify
I maybe worded that wrong - I meant ONLY eat the cashews, I apologize for any confusion. & we're talking "ideally' about your family's (or co-worker's) nut canister, not a personal one from which only you eat from.

For the record, the closest thing to candy I eat is honey roasted cashews, and they're one of my favorite things ever.
