Which THREE veteran free agent signings will have the biggest Chiefs impact in 2019?

Poll coming. We signed a lot of veteran free agents. Seriously.

Pick your top three.

Footnotes: I'm including only guys who have 3+ years of NFL experience or 3+ years since entering the league. I'm also not including trades.

I went with Matthieu, Hyde, and Breeland, but I wanted to vote for Ogbah. I think he'll make an impact this year, but the other three are stronger cases.

I actually think that Hyde will be the biggest positive surprise. He may end up as our starter.

Ogbah is not a FA signing.

Nope. Damien Williams is the starter and a damn good one as well

Oh.

(Ponders options to regain credibility.)

Never mind.

Meh, he's close enough since we traded a backup safety for him.

Matthieu- This one I think is fairly obvious. The most skilled free agent we acquired and at a position of need. He'll be relied upon for our defense not only to be a difference maker but a leader... no brainer.

Hyde- Sneaky acquisition by Veach here in my opinion. As well as Damien Williams played last year down the stretch for us, in today's NFL you need to have a two to three running backs with the ability to make plays. Hyde gives us a nice 1-2 punch and with his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield (59 receptions in 2017) I think Hyde will be a real nice fit in our offense. I think Williams/Hyde battle all season in regards of who gets the most touches which gives the Chiefs some good internal competition.

Breeland- Struggled here between picking one of Okafor/Ogbah/Breeland. Any of those names I just mentioned have a giant window of opportunity to seize a good chunk of playing time if they perform well but I think Breeland has less competition. What I like about Breeland is that he is on a prove-it contract. With Breeland scheduled to make only 2 million, he can cash in on next year's free agency with a strong season. We've seen multiple times how players step up their game in contract years and I am hopeful Breeland does the same.

It would give the Chief's Super Bowl hopes a big boost if all 3 were DBs or LBs. I went with Matthieu, Breeland, and Wilson.
