Exactly. We could easily have flipped the Dolphins our 1st and Branden Albert for their 1st (#12), 3rd and their 2nd this year.

I've said that over and over....the real stinger is we were already talking to Miami about Albert at the time, so an open line of communication was there.

If it is one pick, I take Sheldon Richardson over Eric Fisher in a heartbeat and that is as much to do with how much I liked Stephenson's development this year as Richardson's outstanding play.
If I did an overall re-draft, here it is: 1. DT Sheldon Richardson - Was one of the most dominant defensive ends in football, and he did it in a 3-4. 3. WR Keenan Allen - I had him dubbed as the best WR in the 2013 draft and he certainly looked every bit of it. There was no way he was going to end up in the 3rd round... what a mistake. 4. OT David Bakhtiari - Was very solid at left tackle for the Packers, starting the entire season there as a rookie. He would have been a steal to play on the right side. 5. CB Micah Hyde - I almost put WR Kenny Stills here, but I really liked Hyde this year and I can only imagine what he'll look like if (and probably when) the Packers slide him to FS, where I'd project him for the Chiefs. 6. RB Andre Ellington - Looked solid for the Cards in the backfield and would have made a solid backup to Jamaal Charles as a late steal. 6. DE Mike Catapano - I like this kid and I think he could end up being a contributor for KC in 2014. There aren't too many players below him I would have taken aside from the final pick. 7. CB Marcus Cooper - KC was fortunate to grab him off of waivers and he looks like he could develop into a fine player. You don't find much in round 7, and Cooper could end up the best pick in the round. |

CP, sans Mizzou fans, would of been mad as hell if the Chiefs drafted Sheldon Richardson.

I am not a Mizzou fan, and I was saying last year he should be the pick.

That still doesn't change the fact that people are coming out of the woodwork saying that wanted Sheldon Richardson all along which wasn't the case. Doing re-drafts one year later is ****ing stupid anyhow. |

I wanted Geno, then Sheldon, then Vaccaro. Of course, I would have been fine with Jarvis Jones.
