I don't think adding FAs count like that.

You spent a 1st on a qb.
You had to sign a FA to replace his shittyness and trade him for bottom barrel picks.

If we traded a 2nd for cassel, and traded him to someone else for a 5th then it was a wasted pick, even if the FA pick would of been manning.

There, is no black on this trade. All in the red on wasting a 1st rounder.

Broncos acted REAL QUICK in getting rid of a shitty quarterback.

....if only certain other AFC West teams would do the same.

Of course you are free to see it however you like. All teams make mistakes. The good team's realize their mistakes and act to mitigate their losses.
The other teams still have Matt Cassell.

The Denver Broncos continue their free agency period with not another Colts player on Wednesday morning, but with tight end Matthew Mulligan, formerly of the New York Jets, reports the Denver Post's Mike Klis. Mulligan is a blocking tight end who has six career catches in three seasons.

Klis believes that the plan appears to be the creation of a tight end combo that replaces Daniel Fells and Dante Rosario, who left through free agency. Former Indianapolis Colts tight end Jacob Tamme would be the other half of that combo by being the pass-catching tight end. Tamme is visiting the Broncos on Wednesday, too.

Welcome to the new Denver Broncos.

The Jets haven't realized their mistake and moved on. They gave Sanchez an extension. At least Pioli hasn't given Cassel one. He's probably no worse.

Nice! So whichever TE is in the game will broadcast whether it's a run or pass play.

Yeah cuz NFL OCs can't run different packages off the same base! You need to be an NFL DC, you would be awesome!

Yeah. Hard Knocks had better already have their equipment loaded and their planes requesting clearance to land in New York. I want to see it all starting today.
