ANOTHER DGB THREAD!

Dorial Green-Beckham visiting the Chiefs today

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-chiefs-today/

While many pre-draft visits are for the sake of smokescreen, or to firm up medical information, many of them are for teams to look a player in the eye.

Likely along those lines, the Chiefs are bringing in one of the most talented players in the 2015 NFL Draft today, who comes with considerable baggage.

Via Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Chiefs are hosting former Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham today.

Green-Beckham has also visited the Bengals and 49ers, and the Vikings and Ravens have also met with him. Plenty of other teams probably have as well, to see if they are willing to gamble on a player with explosive ability and a checkered past.

Green-Beckham was kicked off the team at Missouri after a pair of drug arrests, and a domestic violence accusation (though no charges were filed). He transferred to Oklahoma, but never played a down there.

If you trust him, he’s the kind of game-breaking talent which any team can use, and getting him with the 18th pick might be a steal. Weighing whether they can take such a chance is the kind of thing most evaluators can’t decide before meeting someone face-to-face, which the Chiefs will do today.

You state this shit as if it's factual information. I'd like to introduce you to the Dallas Cowboys who've taken two tackles and a center the past four years. Only difference is their guys panned out and made Dallas look pretty damn smart with their decisions.

Yeah, Dallas looks incredibly smart.

How many playoff games have they won since they started ignoring their defense and spending early picks on fatties?

If you know that the **** you are doing, you can get very good linemen in the mid-late rounds, and use the early picks for players with real talent.

If the QB is already in place, then protecting your investment warrants loading up on blocking his blind side.

Enough about drafting fatties, get back on topic... Dallas took a chance on drafting Dez Bryant when his character issues dropped him down the board. If DBG falls to 18, you HAVE to pull the trigger. If he pans out, we got the steal of the draft.

You're out of your goddamn mind. Him being available at 18 isn't "falling" it's "****ing reality."

God the MU homers are losing their shit at the idea of Maclin and DGB. The dude's a gigantic vagina of a bust. Get over it.

1 is a fair enough point.

2 IMO is Dorsey and co recognizing that you cant make a well rounded receiver corp out of guys 5'11 and under, and they also wanted to take a cheap shot at grooming someone who may well fit their next QB.

I just want to eliminate as many IF's as possible for the number one selection, the surest thing possible, we need a number two with a little size on him now... and this guy is NOT it in my opinion... I'd rather reach a little in the first for your guy Agohlor, than **** around with another project like DGB.

No shit. Everyone wants the "safe" pick, even though the safe decisions this regime has made have sucked.

WTF does the college team I follow have anything to do with the talent on the field. He very well could flop just like countless others have in the past. However, he does have the speed and athleticism to be one of the best in the NFL. Whether that translates to the NFL, roll the damn dice. At 18 I'd rather take a chance on a game changer, rather than take the safe pick on a mediocre talent.

BTW... Eat a bag of dicks, douche nozzle.

DGB isn't going in the 1st. I actually think the 3rd is more likely.
