Well I finally sold my direct mail business
After almost 27 years I'm stepping down from the direct mail advertising business and passing the baton to a much younger energetic man.

I haven't been around here much lately but wanted to share this with those of you I call family.It's interesting to say the least as having never had kids I wonder if this what it feels like when one gets older and sees a child leave the nest.

I feel like we are leaving the publication in great hands and am excited to see what becomes of our dream as well as excited to see what my next chapter brings.I hope to have a great fireworks season and then plan to take some time off to decide what that next chapter will include.

Anyhow just wanted to share

I don't check my mail for weeks at a time. I imagine the postman or woman hates me because of how full it gets. I just throw all the mail away unless I'm expecting something. Imagine mail is getting less and less effective everyday for marketing.
Ours is still quite strong and just to be clear it's a marriage mail piece i.e. numerous businesses going together to send out their message.
