****Official "Who Should I Keep?" Thread****

I'll start.

Let's just say I had a pretty shitty team last year. Two keeper league. Which two would you keep from the following list?

Tom Brady
Andre Johnson
Robert Griffin III
Hakeem Nicks
Darren Sproles

Going to have to be more specific.

Scoring?

How does your keeper league work? You lose the draft pick of the coinciding round of your keeper?

QB - 6 pts per passing TD & 12 pts per receiving or rushing TD (more for distances), 1 pt per 25 yds passing (none until 10 at 250)
RB - 6 pts per rushing TD & 12 pts per passing or receiving TD (more for distances), 1 pt per 10 yards rushing (none until 10 at 100)
WR - 6 pts per receiving TD & 12 pts per passing or rushing TD (more for distances), 1 pt per 10 yards receiving (none until 10 at 100)
TE - Same points as WR, except receiving starts at 5 for 50 yds with an extra pt if he reaches 100 yds.
K - 1 pt for PAT, 3 pts per FG (more for distances)
DST - 6 pts per TD (more for distances), 1 pt per sack

All have -1 pt per FL and +1 per FR

WRs or RBs who score for DST get points for DST, not the position

Also, I must always maintain a certain number of players at each position: 3 QB, 5 WR, 4 RB, 2 TE, 2 K, and 2 DST. WR, RB, or TE can be a flex player.

I have to keep 2. I'm thinking Brady and Johnson.....again. I really wish I had someone better than Johnson, though. If RG3 was healthier, it would be a toss up between him and Brady. Brady is guaranteed points, but I got RG3 as a rookie, and I would love to be able to keep him for the future.

If I trade a player before or during the draft, then I have to keep whoever I traded a player for.

Keep Brady and RGIII. You're hedging your bet with each one. I think Brady has a down year and nobody is 100% sure what RGIII will do when he comes back. Either way....you're guaranteed to have a QB that will start for you.

Andre Johnson has lost a step.
Sproles is awesome as a PPR back but his yardage is going to kill you for rushing purposes.
Nicks is in a contract dispute and has problems staying healthy.

Non-issue IMO. Either you trade one off for a better keeper than you would otherwise have OR you keep both and are set at QB with there's no need to draft another, especially since they have different bye weeks.

In a normal draft, would you select a QB in the first and 2nd? Hell no.

So if thats what it costs to keep 2, then **** keeping RG3.

Keep Brady for a 1st and take BPA in round 2 (non QB)

Where does it say that they cost a 1st and 2nd round pick? I must have missed that somewhere.

It doesn't, but that's what I am used to doing. You keep a player, it costs you a draft pick, and typically the first round.

Maybe it doesnt, but then why draft all of the rounds if you can only have X number of players on your roster?

What's the word on Vick Ballard?

Is he projected to be the guy in Indy?

Or is it Ahmad Bradshaw?
