Are you prepping for winter?

Just curious if anyone else has been and what is your routine?

So far on the house:
Caulked, painted the exterior gaps and leak parts of the house.
Unhooked hoses.
Changed furnace filter, cleaned humidifier and changed filter and switched settings.

Vehicle:
Changed oil, air filter and plugs, checked fluids.
Built my sand bag frame to keep the sand bags over the rear axels.

Still need to do:
Load sand bags in pickup.
Attach / retro fit snow plow to tractor.

If you want to talk bad drivers then the award for worst and most out of place goes to southerners trying to drive in the real winter weather. Most (with Florida being the exception) struggle enough with rain as it is.

Yep.

Got all my 32-0-0 diluted to 28-0-0

Nurse trailer flushed with chemical

Cleaned out the oil burner and filled it.

Sprayer and truck are inside.

Pulled the drains on the pivot.

Drained all my pumps.

Checked all the antifreeze.

Drained water from my compressors.

14' blade is on the tractor.

The only thing I haven't done is buy some winter diesel. Waiting until I'm done in the field.

Haven't priced the Stihls yet but if they're only another $20 then that's a no-brainer. I do like my Echo trimmer though.

I clean my chimney 2X per year. But wood heat is my primary source.
I have seen a chimney fire at my house and they are scarry as hell, hence why I clean 2X.
