-- Let's talk about the TB Bucs....

Is crab legs going to have a good game against us?

How's their lines?

How's their coaching?

I think we'll be fine...

Tell us some things about the Tampa Bay Bucs? I'm not at all familiar w/ this team.

Also post any Chiefs threads were they're discussing us, here.

Thanks!

Mike Evans is a beast, otherwise not much else to get overly concerned about. Winston has developed pretty well so far. Curious to see how he does with the Arrowhead crowd noise.

Well, unless he's good to go..

We need all the opportunities we can have to get the offense gelling. Maclin would obviously help that a lot.

I have faith that Reid can right that ship. We have legitimate threats on offense in Ware, Maclin, Kelce and Hill. Conley is an awesome possession guy who doesn't get as many targets as he should. The OL is good enough. And I refuse to rule out the return of Jamaal Charles for the playoffs.

I really want to see the offense pick it up and start it this Sunday to have some confidence heading into Denver.

In total yards it looks like you are right, but the Chiefs aren't great in total yards either.

Pts against
Jags-26.6
Bucs-26.9
Chiefs 18.7

Interceptions
Jags-3
Bucs-6
Chiefs-13

Fumbles Recovered
Jags-2
Bucs-9
Chiefs-9

Sacks
Jags-16
Bucs-21
Chiefs-18

I think total yards are deceiving at times.

Jags
Total-8th
Rushing-29th
Passing-4th

Chiefs
Total-21st
Rushing-27th
Passing-13th

Bucs
Total-27th
Rushing-25th
Passing-22nd

Jags are better in yards than I thought because of passing, in no small part to their top CB. Don't think they are better, definitely not a lot better.

Whatever Al Bundy. They are both abysmal in points allowed, the 7th and 8th worst in the league. But they Bucs give up an additional 60 yards per game. The Bucs are among the leagues worst in yards and points allowed. The Jags are pretty good in yards allowed. Either way, the Bucs defense is horrible. Saying that they are better than the Jags in points allowed is equivalent to saying that the Syphilis is better than AIDS. It's still bad

Groin injuries are nothing to mess with. We can get away with Tyreek and Conley getting more looks, they need these type of games to build up their confidence.

Bucs put up a lot of garbage yards. Total Passing yards does not equal success. Otherwise Seattle and Denver wouldn't have won those two superbowls

We aren't saying they are better. You said that the Jags were "a lot" better, which is what we are disputing. We aren't defending the Bucs here. The stats I posted show they are both bleh, save for the pass defense. But teams get so far ahead of JAX that they don't have to pass. The pts and turnovers show they are about equal, and KC shows that yard totals don't mean much.

Not trying to say we should be afraid of TB, just saying the Jags aren't "a lot better".

If you watched that Oakland - Tampa Bay game you would not be afraid of Tampa Bay at all.

We could always beat ourselves like we almost did this past Sunday, but bottom line... if we show up it's a W

I don't care how bad they are on defense. We suck worse on offense and have proved that we can't score on bad defenses even at home. This game will most likely be like most of the others. 1 td and a few FG's. Then the defense will have to save us.

McCoy, David and Kwon Alexander are going to get after Smith. We just need Smith to do what he does best. 5-10 yard quick routes before they can get to him.

Otherwise, every QB has struggled at Arrowhead the first time. They are down to one receiver and RB.

Winston will throw interceptions.

This should be a good win.
