What the hell?

I would be surprised to see anyone trade up to get the Raiders' 3rd overall pick in this draft, let alone the Chiefs' 1st.

I've read he lost a lot of stock at the combine.

The thing is, I don't trust anything coming from the same people who say we should draft an OL over Geno Smith, or trade for Alex Smith.

Teddy Bridgewater could be a very good player next year. I was looking at him for the Eagles because Vick probably won't be here past 2013.
I agree, but the key here to trading down is IF the Chiefs really do not want Geno and his stock really rises in the next month and a half and there are 2 teams that really do want him(which I think is very realistic when you see who is drafting just behind us....Jags,Raiders,Cardinals etc...)that are in the 5-15 range I could see several teams willing to come up. The downside of this whole scenario is that we don't get Geno.

If you are willing to trade from #1 to the #15 range, you better absolutely get a haul. I'm talking like 6 day1,2 picks.

A trade down, if it comes, will come from a team in the top 10.

On the other hand, they might trade down WITH Philly just BECAUSE they might want Geno.

LOL, so now Geno is a Ferrari.

The legend of Geno Smith is taking Biblical proportions even before he throws an NFL pass. Rich Scanlon's legend is about to get surpassed.
