I'll probably find the time to keep daily updated brackets in the thread. In the mean time, who do you have winning it all? Kentucky a lock? Teams lose. So I don't think so. I truly believe undefeated hurts you going into The Dance.

Virginia's head coach Tony Bennett comes from Wazzu and I remember being happy the day he left even though I wondered why Virginia? Not rooting for them. I really don't know.

I expect Kansas to not make the sweet 16 potentially. Definitely not a championship contender (which would make it all the sweeter should they defy the odds).

What a shock, people are rating conferences and the entire body of work based on three rounds of basketball in a single elimination crapshoot tournament. So predictable. The focus should be on the teams surviving and advancing, not the conferences. These teams are competing for a championship, not a beauty contest. I'm sure Coach K, Cal and Izzo are sitting back thinking "nice, that's a W for our conference!" They're all trying to win a national championship. You know, that thing fans of teams named Mizzou and KSU aren't familiar with so instead they talk about who's winning the coveted almighty conference tournament wins battle, the real national championship!!! Derp.

Speaking of Izzo, I love him. Dude is something else. Great man and great coach. I got to meet him at the Champions Classic a few years ago.

Just found out a friend of mine had $200 on Duke last night -5,got so pissed he turned the game off and missed the end.He thought I was full of shit this morning when I told him Duke covered the 5.

I was thinking the same thing when that slap happened. I knew it was -5 and the refs were demanding the foul even though both teams were walking off the court and it had no reason to be enforced.

This Elite 8 game about to start has to be the best one I can recall. Two 34-3 teams playing for a FF spot. They're 2 & 3 in Pomeroy, 3 & 4 in Sagarin. (Sagarin's predictor has it 95.05-94.99, which is absurdly close). I knew it was a total joke the committee put both in the same region and allowed Nova to get a bogus 1.


I picked AZ to win it all but they'd have to go through WI and likely Kentucky just to get to the title game.
