That's right. And remember kids, bulking up with muscle actually hurts major league hitters because hitting is all about hand-eye coordination, and those muscles take away your flexibility. /Bonds, Sosa, McGwire, A-Rod, Palmeiro, ... etc., etc., etc.

I'd say it's about 3 to 1 people who want Alex Smith and Joeckel or some variation that involves not taking a QB at 1.

what?

terrible comparison

lifting weights has nothing to do with how hard/far you can throw a football

Bring the pistol to KC.... Again.
This is pretty much where I'm at as well. I've watched a ton of videos On the draftbreakdown site of both Geno and Wilson this past weekend. Just trying to make my own opinion and I find a lot to like about Geno. I'm no expert on QBs and throwing mechanics, but Wilson has kind of a funny motion where he kicks his leg out when he wants to really throw it hard. Geno looks more relaxed throwing it deep, and I thought he hit more receivers in stride than Wilson did.

I can't see how Wilson would be the choice over Geno and don't see how you would be able to trade out of the top spot and still get him. If we pass on Geno this year, I don't know what it would take for us to select a QB in the first round. For as many first round picks as we have screwed up in the past I don't understand why we would be so scared of taking the best prospect at a key position that is also a huge need for the team.

Utah pass my ass. Smith is as adept at hitting guys deep in stride as anybody at the college level that I've seen in a decade. That article is total bullshit.
Are you just a special type of stupid or something? Do you not understand that, in fact, given Reid's offensive philosophy, the article actually supports drafting Geno--even though it was originally a knock on him? Your decades long love of wanting to draft left tackles in the draft (don't even try to deny it) has clouded your judgement; you're a recent convert to the draft a QB mindset and you're behaving as though you are some type of freakish moonie or something. Just because someone doesn't parrot your exact words doesn't mean they are against drafting Geno with the #1. FWIW, look at post number 14 in the original draft Geno thread; you're a relative johnny-come-lately.

Between this and the "Please don't be boisterous and rowdy on the internet!" post, you've sunk to a new low in stupidity.

Buck up, guy. This is a bumpy ride and we've got a long way to go. If your vagina is going to be this sensitive, get off now.

No problem in pointing out that Geno can do much more than just short passes. Even if the article supports Geno to KC if only by accident.

I'm glad some of you take callers from 610 and 810 as the vocal majority of this fanbase.

King is right. The over dramatic garbage is way over the top.
