I wasn't aware they picked up James Jones. You could argue that he's just a body that looked good with Aaron Rodgers throwing to him but I'd say that's a decent signing.

Schaub at QB, DMC and MJD (brokedick 1 and brokedick 2), Streater, James Jones and Denarius Moore. They could score a few points..

The guy was constantly being double, even triple teamed at times. So, go ahead and game plan for Mack. That's what they're hoping for.

Replace Moore with Holmes. Moore is not even a lock to win a starting position.

Pains me to say it, but the Raiders had to do SOMETHING to get some talent in there. At least they didn't stand pat this offseason and brought in some guys with resumes.

Now that said, had they brought in the guys they did five years ago, it would be a whole other story with them going into this season. They haven't been over .500 since Tampa stomped them 12 years ago for the title. Anything can happen, admittedly, but I don't see it happening this year for them with the schedule the AFC West pulled.

I'm sorry. The qb/rb combo is just a joke and you all picked up some reserves on offense and expect a significant improvement.

Ain't gonna happen.

I can agree with this. Pittsburgh LBs never do shit when they leave Pitt so I don't expect Woodley to do anything of note. Mack is a rookie. Antonio Smith is pretty good but he's had Watt to draw attention for the past few seasons; we'll see how he does on his own.

I mean, they added some experience; but that defense was horrible last year. They let Foles and Jamaal have career, all-time games. I don't think age will have the effect Raiders fans are hoping for..

But... You never know. They had a ton of cap space and they did something and that's a start toward getting out of the cellar.

Until last year, Schaub was thought of as a pretty decent QB. He wasn't a world beater but he was easily in the top half of the rankings up until last year. Will he continue his streak of throwing touchdowns to the other team? Who knows, but if you look at last year as the exception and the rest of his career as the rule, the Raiders could and have done a hell of a lot worse.
