ChiefsPlanet Survivor: Week 9

In a stunning display of resilience (and a week of pretty easy picks), nobody went down this past week, a first this year, truncated though it may be.

A band of survivors I now refer to as the Jaguar Eleven, players who have simply picked against the Jaguars, continue to lead as the Jags have not even been within 10 points of an opponent this week. For now, it's a working strategy. It's also a strategy that will disappear in the last three weeks of the season when all of Jacksonville's division rivals come calling.

T-1. bevischief (114): Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers
T-1. Bwana (114): Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers
T-1. Dave Lane (114): Indianapolis Colts, St. Louis Rams , Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, San Francisco 49ers

18. HonestChieffan (92): Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, San Diego Chargers, Cincinnati Bengals
19. Mr. Flopnuts (90): Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams, Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints
20. mcaj22 (69): Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks

22. Phobia (59): Minnesota Vikings, St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks, San Diego Chargers, Green Bay Packers
23. Pestilence (50): Washington Redskins, St. Louis Rams, Cincinnati Bengals, Green Bay Packers, Seattle Seahawks

Props especially to mcaj, seaofred, Phobia, and Pesty for getting by by the relative skin of your teeth. You gentlemen are cutting it close, but it's working.

The usual rules:

1. Only those who are listed above as Survivors can participate. Everybody else will either be ignored or, preferably, should just make your voice heard by replying in this thread rather than voting. Because why not, and why make this harder on me than it needs to be.

2. For those listed above, if you fail to make your pick by Saturday evening (poll closes on Saturday at a time that's convenient for me), you will be disqualified.

3. When you do make your pick, please remember that you CANNOT pick any team you have previously selected. Doing so will disqualify you, no exceptions.

4. Also, keep in mind that margin of victory will factor into any tie-breakers that are needed at the end of the season.

5. As kind of a thing to keep this as manageable as possible for the participants, I am not including Thursday night games for a while longer, as the above participants get used to this schedule. This will change soon. I will let you know.

I am getting the poll going. Give me a few.

yeah, at some point we have to start thinking about margin of victory so we can't all keep picking the same teams. I actually considered picking the eagles. man do I regret not doing it.

Who ever picked Dallas has a one point lead right now.

I am 99.8% positive that I did it immediately after him starting the thread, but because it's you I will absolutely concede that .02% chance.

Yeah - spent about 45 minutes working on it shortly after my last post and my laptop is not cooperating. Post the thread and the poll option population window never arrives. Somebody else wants to roll with it, have at it.
