Opinions range all over the place on this issue, and rather than clutter up threads with my staunch disagreement with some folks, I figured a poll on this issue would be the best way to figure out the overall pulse.

If you think he'd net us something that's not listed on here (like 2 2nd round picks or something like that) then do your best to estimate what that approximate value would be.

In fairy tale land where the Chiefs get to the SB, win it or close they will maybe let him play out that final year than tag+trade.

If he finishes the season on the same fireball track he is on?

A single first and then some isn't too much to ask at all

He'll have at least 2 solid years left for the right team... but an original return of two 2nds sounds like a perfectly good value to me

We will see if you think he will even finish the season no less win 3 playoff games after we lose the next two games and go into the bye 5-4.

I'm almost willing to put PMll15 as successfully taking the reins than Alex11 winning a playoff game (a real one).

Really trade smith and throw away the season and give it all to a rookie? You think there isn't going to be no pressure there lol! Its his last season, let him play. I really highly doubt any team trades for him at this stage for one season. They would want him for longer term if they are going to give up trade picks. I know people think Alex chokes in playoffs. He actually has pretty good QB ratings in playoffs. But he has had his bad moments. problem is you have to play as a team to win in playoffs. If one side plays worse than the other you will likely lose. Whether its offense of defense. To my conclusion, Alex will not be traded this season! Chiefs will only get healthy as the season goes on and these early loses will be helpful and they are doing good for themselves now! Raiders won't get 5 lives again lol!
