CP Job/Work/Service Directory

As the economy has dictated, many people are in tight situations financially and have had work troubles. Lately it seems a ton of those situations find their way on to CP.

I was thinking that it might be a good idea to create some sort of directory of legit members' businesses and services that they offer, in an attempt to support each other's work and ultimately, pocketbooks.

For instance, if CP member X had a heating/cooling business, and CP member Y needed a new heating/cooling unit, Y could find X easily from the directory and spend money that way. And we could all refer business to each other as well.

We could even network and discuss job openings and such; trade resumes, etc...

I don't know the logistics of this, but I thought it might be fun for someone who likes creating stuff like that to do.

My thoughts too. When I went to work for homeland security I gave up a lot of privacy. I kinda learned that I've got nothing to hide online because I don't lie. I don't lead a double life. My work or a potential employer wants to look at my facebook, go for it. Now, thats my opinion but because I raised money for the troop packages and exchanged "real" names and phone numbers because of people attending the tailgates I know a lot of poster's real names etc. If they don't want that info known on here, thats their business, not mine.

I don't know. Yeah, people come here and BS and act like pricks (not the kind of behavior you like to see in someone you would potentially want doing work for you), but you can typically tell who is a good guy (or gal) at heart. I see it working more amongst the long time members who have a feeling for what type of person another poster really is, or someone they've met in person before.

On a more serious note I'm betting that some people might have a hard time putting there information out there. If you piss someone off on the planet then there are some that could and have taken it to the next level whether it's phone calls at home or some other weird stuff or even more. I would hate for Hog Farmer to actually send me a vial of pig jizz if I pissed him off....LOL. But the idea is very good I would be interested in what CP members actually could offer in the way of services. Good luck with it.

Don't worry ,Iwould never waste such a valuable commodity. Anyway , Badgirl has a request in for all the leftovers.
