Doug Pederson/Foles in championship game..

Before Reid/Smith after 5 years of trying...

Yes...this needed it's own thread.

BTW Blake Bortles beat the Steelers, in their house, TWICE this season...

Shut. The. ****. Up.
The only game that is being played is by the Hunts for the last 48 years. Reid is being talked up as some genius HOF coach and commands a very high price for his and his staff’s services. But the results are just not there.
There is nothing stupid about wanting to win something meaningful after a 48 year wait.

The 2006 Chiefs had no real chance. 2010 had no real chance. Of course no one in the AFC really has a chance while the Pats are the Pats and Brady is around.

Some of you people have lost your minds.

Foles did a good job, 23 or 30 for 246 yards and no TDs. That was a defensive struggle, and Philly had something like 30+ running plays.

If you want to blow smoke up someones ass try the DC. And by the way, good luck with winning this way vs the Patriots.

We’ve had no real chance in Andy’s tenure either. Let’s be honest here.

Neither did any team without Manning, Brady, Big Ben.

Andy has won a playoff game while coaching in KC. We seem to forget that. I really thought that this was our best shot yet, so this playoff loss hurts more than the others. Injury bug has really hurt this team in the playoffs. Houston out there dragging his leg around. The loss of Kelce, RNR, and Jones this year. Maclin was hurt in vs the Pats. Didn't we lose Charles too in Indy?

I'm not making excuses. But so many of you just want to yell at Reid, but damn if we just have not had much luck. I was convinced we were going to win that wild card game because we got a TD right before half. When the hell does that ever happen?

It could be argued that Pederson put together a better staff/roster...they were able to advance further than KC has since 1993... with a back-up (ex-Chiefs) QB.

KC just lost in historic fashion to one of the worst (statically) teams in play-off history. Who, in turn, got blown out the following week...

So Reid is fantastic at creating double history futility in one post-season game...congrats?

Nagy has assembled a damn good staff in Chicago. He's going to do well. Glad he's not in the AFC

I'll say it again...Reid is a NFL lacky that's getting over-paid by an uninterested, uninspired and passive owner..that fell ass-backwards into a franchise.

Chiefs are just a guaranteed source of revenue for Chunt...

If Kraft got repeatedly dicked in the post-season via officiating...does anyone think he'd lay down and go quietly?

I think the average fan assumes all owners are equal in the structure of NFL hierarchy...they are absolutely not. There are some HUGE egos in that bunch...CHunt doesn't really give a shit. He likes soccer...and for the Chiefs to generate steady profit without conflict/publicity.

Just remember Reid saying "I dont want to say anything..I might get fined" horseshit...dude is worth well over $50 million. He's bought off...and passively lets the league **** KC fans over without a whimper...

You know who wasn't a passive, "tank for hire" employee...Dorsey. It's why he got the axe...

Absolutely. It’s becoming apparent that we’re not making the right staffing decisions.

Did you know who Nagy was two years ago? I remember people being very nervous because we lost Pederson. Reid seems to find good staff, over and over. I have no doubt he'll find more good people.

Now, if we could just get rid of Sutton.
