Yes. These guys get to protest however they see fit. Yes their bosses, the owners, can respond how they see fit. Yes, the NFL as a cartel can coordinate a response and establish rules as they see fit. Yes, the viewing public has the right to tune in or turn off the NFL as they see fit.

I don't like the form of protest they've chosen but I also tend to believe our police, by and large in this nation, have become far too militarized in their approach. I think we need criminal justice reform. We need to decriminalize weed. We need to address the sentencing disparities between crack and cocaine. The police also need to stop shooting people like it's cool.

I'm putting all of that on hold until these clowns figure out that pissing on the flag is precisely the wrong way to get me involved or supportive of their issues. As far as the NFL goes, I fall in the last category. I have to choose whether I want to tune in or turn it off.

Yes, if the allegation holds, then Trump violated the statute. Is it a high crime and misdemeanor worthy of impeachment? I don't think so. But it is concerning that he is so willfully dismissive of, what I believe to be, an important principle in a free nation. That the livelihoods of citizens should not be ****ed with by elected officials without legal cause. And in that case that is the responsibility of the courts. If the President doesn't like it, pass a law and see how that does.
The presidency has been called the Bully Pulpit for a reason. Using the presidency to sway public opinion on current topics/headlines has been done repeatedly in this past. It is funny how the left has always supported similar actions by Obama and Clinton but now not only do they disagree with what Trump does but want to twist statutes in a way they have never been used before to find him guilty of a crime.

He gave his opinion on the protests. He really did not care what the NFL did as he was winning the public polls and was going to win the public polls. The NFL's problem was Trump and a whole lot of others were bashing them and fans were agreeing with the bashing. It was not because Trump was threatening them with official action it was because a large number of fans did not agree with the players and voicing their displeasure.

Ultimately it was up to the owners whether they were going to let the players use their multi billion dollar industry to amplify those protesting or not. They may not have liked Trump amplifying the counter protest but to now act like counter protesting is somehow illegal is just laughable.

But people will either move on, as there will be other players who are more than willing to replace them, or the fans will just get tired of supporting a league that's allowed this to happen, and will decide to spend their time/money on other forms of entertainment (which we're already seeing).

If there's no fanbase, there's no product to sell, there's no league, and players won't get paid. And everyone suffers in the end.

All because Michael Brown, a thug, was shot/killed after he robbed a convenience store and then tried to fight a cop and went for his gun.

Wanna know why people are upset at the kneeling? Because it's all based on one big giant lie and its nothing but a liberal race baiting weaponized propaganda campaign by the msm and Hollywood, and now it's morphed over into the NFL. That's what people like Soros and Obama do. They're "community organizers". They're mass deceivers and manipulators who love to play people off one another.

Obama is a real pos.

The players are free to sue the Administration, but they'll have to argue that the presidency has no right to free speech. Good luck with that.

You think Kaepernick is the only player they'll blacklist?

They'll make a...well, a list. A black one.

I dare these dumbasses to risk their careers and millions of dollars in the process.

Of course, folk singers will write protest songs about them if they do. Do folk singers even do protest songs anymore?

Or is kneeling the preferred method these days?

It is too early for me.

No. He was all enraged by a woman being fondled. He whipped Twitertards into a frenzy, to the point the trooper (and another with the same last name) received death threats. Turns out it was another black citizen manufacturing a story about police misconduct.
