If You Ever Wanted A Vitamix Today's Your Day
If you ever wanted a Vitamix but couldn't afford it or were waiting for a good price today is your day.
QVC has the one and only bad ass Vitamix on sale for 389.98 on 6 payments of 65.00. This is the one with the 64 oz. (1/2 gallon) container, variable 2hp speed controls. If you've never used one of these you will be amazed and what it can do. Makes the most awesome green smoothies, ice cream, peanut butter, margaritas, etc. There's a reason why Starbucks and many of the other commercial establishment use this machine. When you watch the cooking shows you will see that most professional chefs use the Vitamix. http://www.qvc.com/CatalogSearch?lan...eyword=vitamix Last edited by houstonwhodat; 04-06-2014 at 08:09 AM.. |

To say an appliance will change your life may be a bit much.

Side by side, the Ninja doesn't hold a candle to Vitamix. It's a cheaper knockoff. Especially if you're making smoothies, the texture from a Vitamix is far superior. |

Anyone that enjoys cooking and wants a superior product. I gave myself a gift a couple years ago because I do fruit and green smoothies just about every morning, and you just cannot get the same quality of smoothie with even a Kitchenaid or Cuisinart. I'll not own another blender.
Since getting it, I do a shit ton more blending than smoothies, but it still gets its workout every morning, doesn't even hint at slowing down. And years ago I decided I was done buying mediocre equipment. I'd rather spend more money on less equipment. |

I don't have one yet, but I certainly know that I'm not going to spend the rest of my life in Ford Pintos when Chevy Corvettes are an option. And in this case, it's more than a flashy car, it's something that enables that more-healthy eating-style folks talk about. And with the clean-up you've described (being so fast and easy), quality aside THAT'S a selling point for sure... |

Most normal people can't afford 400+ on a blender all at once unless you put the whole thing on your credit card. But if you really want one go here click on "hot pick" and watch the video. Sometime tonight they have a hour special on it too. http://www.qvc.com/CatalogSearch?lan...eyword=vitamix Today they have it less than 400.00 and on 6 payments of 65.00. It's a lot easier to swallow when it's 65.00 a month. The first time you use it you will be glad you bought it. Makes hot soup, ice cream, peanut butter does everything it says on the demo. Makes the most awesome margaritas using whole fruit. Vitamix makes several models now. YOU ONLY WANT THE ONE WITH VARIABLE KNOB CONTROL IN THE CENTER. The motor is 2hp. Hell my lawnmower is only 5hp. You have to learn how to use it because if will liquefy everything and sometimes you don't want that. Once during the holiday I need some powdered sugar and I didn't have any. Put some regular sugar it in hit it on high speed and in 2 seconds I had powdered sugar. To clean it all you have to do is fill it halfway with water, put a drop of dishwashing liquid in it and run it for about 30 secs. then rinse. |

Most "normal" people don't have $400 of discretionary income? Every one of my friends must be abnormal.
