Gaming Headsets, PS3/XBOX/PC

Here, you give out advice on which headset to buy, hot deals on headsets, or ask any questions about gaming headsets.

MINE:

Tritton's ax 180s.
I love them! Had them for around a year and still love the sound the produce. They are cheap ($70) compared to Tritton's better models (720s and 720 pros). They can be used on all systems (PS3,PC,XBOX) and they are very easy to set up.
I strongly recommend them if you don't have enough dough for Tritton's 720 models.

Heres what I got.

http://techin5.com/2011/06/sony-anno...w-ps3-headset/

$100.00 made by sony for the PS3. Best part is that it is bluetooth. Never had any of the more expensive sets, but for the price and ease of use, I am pretty happy with these. They supposedly will work with your computer also.

Any recommendations for surround sound headsets? Ideally compatible with 360/PS3/PC/whatevs. Was looking at the Turtle Beach XP500 or PX5 but I live in an apartment building and I've heard wireless interference can be a bitch.

Not sure what this had to do with anything so, okay?

Surround headsets... hmm... The Tritton ax 720s have Dolby Digital Surround Sound and it sounds fantastic.

and Guru. By non gaming headsets do you mean like "over the ear" music headsets?

Just anything. I use vmodas right now. I really want to find something I can go running with but not having to shove them way into my ears just to enjoy them.

These are so money for working out. They don't block off your ear canal like earbuds, they sound FANTASTIC, and they absolutely will not come out unless you yank on them with the force of 10000 men. They also don't completely block out ambient noise, which is useful for not getting run over while you run.

Try them now and thank me later.

Well if you are shooting for very high quality over the ear headphones. I would probably go with "Beats by Dre". They look stylish, Amazing quality, and comfortable.
But the solos do break kinda easy.

There's a silicone piece that fits inside the outer rim of your ear, it's not even noticeable.

Tried those and didn't like them at all, they flopped around a lot. The Bose ones fit really snug.
