To go further in depth, Houston got 17 total pressures in the 4.5 games he played without getting a sack (he got hurt in the 2nd Q vs SD).
so 17 pressures in 18Q's without a sack...that's basically a pressure every quarter.

Yes, Von has missed more games than most, and this should be taken into account. I took the opportunity to compare passrushers in:

Ability (sacks/game)
Consistency (% of games with at least one sack)
Availability (% of games played while on team)

Multiplying the scores together results in:



Availability really brings Von down. He'd be #1 without it.

Stats are useless for Von and Ware right now. Nobody knows how they will be with their injuries and age in Ware's case. They both weren't that great last year.

Eric Fisher even got the best of Von last year.
