Do you know much about the Bucs lease? Any details?

People say the same about the Jaguars, but anyone who does knows nothing about their situation... their lease is also water tight, their owner just dumped $50 million out of his own pocket into the stadium, and he's attempting to gain permits to develop other parts of the riverfront near the stadium. They aren't moving.

I heard that on the radio this morning. Also Inglewood and the Rams claims to be going forward. So three NFL franchises in LA.

Seems unlikely to me, but you never know.

The real question here is how many people would die in the parking lot on the two days when the Raiders and Chargers play each other every year.

67% of the AFC West have been the same franchises since 1959.

So yes. The division has been consistent.

Money always wins out over "history". AFCW tradition or no; if they want to get it done the history isn't going to stand in the way.

would that be the case though? I swear I saw multiple games this year on CBS that had NFC teams on it, not only that some of them pitted NFC vs. NFC.

and for the record, if they moved out of the AFCW then I would want Seattle in the division so that I could go to a Chiefs game every year. Having said that it'll never happen. Seattle doesn't want back in the AFCW, they like their rivalry with SF.

The networks have the right to switch a few games to help increase their doubleheaders or to even out inventory to help ratings.

In 76 for their first year Tampa Bay and Seattle played in opposite divisions and then switched in 77 moving forward. This was planned to give them exposure to as much of the league as possible from the start it was never intended to be anything but a one year transition.

Edited, actually T Bay went to the NFC Central but yeah...

1.There isn't going to be a conference realignment.

2. There isn't going to be a shared stadium in L.A.

3. LA wants nothing to do with the Raiders franchise. They want new and hip,not old and stale.

I agree, it's all posturing.

Stan Kroeke's deal is 99.999% in the books, so the Raiders and Chargers are trying to use whatever leverage is left in order to force their municipalities to find a solution.

So are all the nice fans going to show up for the Chargers and all the psychopaths show up for the Raiders? No of course not. It's going to be nothing but psychopaths. I'm going to live a few miles from this stadium and never be able to go to a game.

The big question is would Al approve of Mark considering this with an enemy in the division?
