It is a reasonable foul, but go back and watch the replay. It's probably a no call if the TCU guy doesn't bear hug Svi when he comes down, and pulling Svi to the ground with him. I liken it to a flop. Saavy move by the TCU player, unfortunately that kind of stuff sickens me. Still, Svi needs to be smarter to be in that vicinity.

To me it was clearly a foul. I don't know why people are even debating it. Speaking of Svi though he is just on the wrong end of a lot of bad decisions. He's been disappointing. I had a feeling KU was going to lose when on one of the last possessions we had svi drove the ball and turned it over leading to an easy layup on the other end. That was a very Svi thing to do.

I think where KU goes depends on what AZ and OR do. (OR already won today and AZ plays at 8 CT.) If those 2 meet in the PAC-12 final I see the winner becoming the #1 seed in the MW with KU probably becoming the #2 seed in the South. (I know if a true "S-curve" was used the cmte. would probably put them in Gonzaga's region but IMO having KU to have to get past UNC again to earn a trip to the Final 4 will be too tempting for the committee to pass up IMO.)

IMO we had to win today to "guarantee" as 1 seed. Because if regional finals are in KC, I don't see how the committee can put us in the MW and not be a #1 seed, that would not be fair to the actual #1 MW seed b/c those would face the possibility of playing a "road" game to a lower seeded team.

Hope I'm wrong.

KU is going to be in Tulsa and Kansas City. I will bet you $1,000 on it. No doubt. Open and shut case. KU has the best wins out of any team in the country.

I hope I'm wrong, right now I'm more concerned with them getting Tulsa or a Fri./Sun. sub-regional b/c I probably can't take next Thur. off.

Ya'll really wanted to avoid playing Iowa State again that bad!?

Oh well, extra time off probably won't hurt and you'll likely still get the #1 seed anyways.

Ding ding ding.

Nothing this weekend was going to change them getting a 1 seed and playing in Tulsa and KC.

I'm super happy that they get more downtime.

This teams starting 5 is capable of a NC, but it has nothing on the bench and the rest and recovery is basically like a bye instead of 3 games in 3 days.

Didn't hear much of it, but heard KK on 810 taking about BREAKING NEWS regarding Josh Jackson. Is there something new going on?

I would agree it clearly was a foul and was the correct call. But the announcer's comment that you have to give space for the shooter to land is BS. There are plenty of 3 point shots where the shooter gets hit before he lands and it isn't called.

Svi plays slightly out of control too much of the time. Whether it closing on a shooter or trying to dribble in traffic. Glad to see him some 3's though.
