That may well be the case. I'm definitely not an expert on MMA, but it just seems to me as though the fights are shorter and the number of blows or jarring impacts they take are cumulatively far less.

I"d imagine it's pretty rare for an MMA guy to have a 50-70 fight pro career.

Not really rare. But its getting shorter.

From a few interviews, it sounds like he actually put the work in for this fight, and Alvarez has a tendency to trade.

Forgot to mention, Ben Askren is getting his title shot against WW champ Lyman Good.

Roger is one of my favorite fighters ever because of his MT talents and his heart, he's also not afraid to throw down, i'll be pulling for him, but I got Alvarez because I think he has the speed advantage and the ground advantage, but I think it really could go either way.

Lyman Good vs Ben Askren is going to go to Askren, even though I don't like him he's going to likely absolutely wrestle**** Lyman from rounds 1-5 in an entirely boring Unanimous decision that you will immediately forget.

And Cain is gonna whoop that ass on Saturday.
