Chiefs NFL top 100 players of 2018 - Page 9

I just came across the list. They have done 81-100 so far, and no Chiefs yet. Donks and Faiders have one each with Harris Jr at 86 and Bruce Irvin at 85. The Packers already have 4 on the list. Noteables are JJ Watt at 84. Apparently his injuries have the voters scared because he should be much higher than that. Grappalo made the list at 90. I don't think that he's played enough to be on that list just yet. I seriously doubt that we see Mahomes on the list, and I don't think that we should. He may have a top 10 year, but after one regular season game, I just wouldn't put him in there. I think that we should see Watkins, Hill, Kelce, and Hunt on the list. I'm not sure if Berry will be there coming off of injury. If Watt only came in at 84, what will they do with Berry? Will Chris Jones make the list? Here's a link if you want to see the list.

Hunts video hasnt been released yet..thats just a preview. The full video will be on youtube in about 10 minutes.. They release a new video every 15 minutes once the 10 players are announced

Why did you take it seriously before? It's a list based on the opinions of players. Any list based on opinions whether they be players or fans will be at least a little bit flawed.

We had more players than any other team last year

Maybe the fewer we have on the list, the more playoff success

I never took it as 100% truth, but again, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a player drop on this list from one year to the next that so clearly improved over the course of that season like Tyreek did. I used to take it half ass serious. All credibility is lost at this point.

Yeah it's bullshit.

Tyreek becomes a much more complete player but goes from #36 to #40. Stupid.

I guess it's theoretically possible if others got better at a faster rate than Tyreek did. Of course, in the real world that's impossible because no one does anything faster than Tyreek.

It'll be interesting to see who they put above him that's different than last year.

His numbers could very well go down this season having Watkins on the team this year.
Some of you all need to understand that it is voted on by the players about what they think players will accomplish in the upcoming season.

Shazier is on the list as a homage to tragedy. Mahomes is an unknown. Between that unknown and another true WR weapon it is probable that Hills numbers may go down. Just as it is probable that so will Kelce. Granted not a lot but still a decrease is likely.

I don’t disagree about the numbers going down, in fact, I do expect it. I think Watkins is our WR1 in 2018.

But where I do disagree is that these players are using this list as a projection. They almost all are voting off of 2017 and further in the past.

Oh yeah man there is plenty of votes based on history or popularity. But all and all it is just for some player fun interaction. There are plenty of players that are not ranked accurately.
