That’s the ****ing problem man. He showed nice bend for his size, but that doesn’t mean he’s good.

It’s basically Dee Ford 2.0. Athletic freak who doesn’t play the position in college, has to learn for 2 years and still has no counter moves or good bend.

They need to play Tanoh inside where he can use his athleticism to beat slower G’s.

If Dee Ford wasn’t a brokedick and had the size/strength to be a good run defender you’d have a damn good player.

I don’t disagree that they should move him around though.

I understand that, but when have Reid/Sutton ever made big changes to the starting lineup/rotations for the playoffs?

They stubbornly stick with their guys no matter what.

Not entirely true. They rotated corners quite a bit and moved Jones around a little.

At least we don’t have to rely on Zombo and a deceased Tamba anymore. Tanoh year 2 is ready to contribute, Speaks was drafted to contribute this year and Ford is in a contract year.

Much better depth than Frank ****ing Zombo.

I love how he finishes sacks on the QB. Tanoh is relentless and hits like a truck.

Tenacious T. is going to have a big year!

I am hoping for 4 or 5 sacks from him this year and 8+ starting next year.

What big changes did we make at corner in the playoffs? The only real change at corner was when Revis came in, which is completely different. Also, I have no clue what moving Jones around has to do with what I was saying.

Specifically, I can’t think of one time that we gave a young guy, and in particular a rookie, reps in the playoffs that they didn’t get in the regular season.

Take Steven Nelson for example. Going into year two, I remember when people thought they really didn’t like Nelson because he didn’t play at all down the stretch his rookie year. Everybody thought there was no way they’d be counting on him the following year, yet he was handed the starting job at NB and had a solid year.

It’s pretty obvious they prefer to redshirt certain guys, which was why I don’t see the reason for concern that they chose not to play him in the playoffs. Sure, there might be other reasons, but that’s not one.

Ehinger is another example, no matter how bad it got with Witzman, they stuck with him so the question was “What the **** is wrong with Ehinnger?”. Like KPass/Zombo in OTA’s, Ehinger has been working with the 1’s, not Witzman.

Ehinger was more of a medical redshirt, but I’m sure you get the point.

He has tremendous use of his hands to get that inside shoulder under the hands of the tackle. His arm length is a huge advantage to keeping the tackles hands off his pads, and looks like he has (is) learning to use it well. Can't wait to see what this kid can do.
