Why? With Mark Hamill's advanced age, he'd be the "Emperor" in Episode VII already, which wouldn't make any sense.

The whole ****ing thing is CGI now anyway.

He could be as old as Obi Wan and still be flying around and kicking ass like Yoda did in the prequels...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Well, I'd like to think that since they hired Oscar winner Michael Arndt for Episode VII's script that the focus will be on the characters, not VFX.

Time will tell.

I'd like to think so as well.

I don't expect it though...

I really hope they just ignore the "canon" that Darth Lucas shat all over with the last three films. From the midichlorians to there being only two Sith at a time, the whole thing was just ridiculous.

I so wish I could unwatch every ****ing second of them.

I've said this before but the Midichlorians ruin the Star Wars mythology for me. I sure hope they either ignore or explain away that nonsense.

The Rule of Two doesn't bother me and actually makes quite a bit of sense, IMO.

How do you figure that makes sense? If both of them get killed, how does a new one rise? Does some Sith spirit contact him and say "Congratulations, you evil bastard, you're the new Sith lord! Now, go fine ONE follower, and the two of you should immediately begin taking over the entire galaxy."

What if there are a couple of dozen equally skilled evil apprentice candidates? I mean, the galaxy is a big place. Does he pick one, and send rejection letters to the rest?

Sorry, but it's awful. ****ing Darth Lucas. That one who sucks the penis should have died in 1984 and not done this to us.

The way it was described in the EU was that at one point in time, there were thousands (?) of Sith Lords but since their primary objective was to be the most powerful Sith in the galaxy, they always ended up killing each other off. So, the Rule of Two (or what ever it was) was established in secrecy, ensuring their existence.

It makes sense to me.

This whole "ultimate goal" is hogwash. Also I don't like how Lucas made the Sith out to be pure evil and nothing but. Which just isn't true. The only difference between Sith and Jedi are the emotional aspect and not just exclusively hate/anger/etc. I hope maybe it gets rectified because that's just lame.

The only thing that matters is the movies. The EU is irrelevant, so whatever you've read does not apply.
