Probably why RGIII fell all the way to pick 2...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Winning one playoff game in what, 15 years, and now you're "winners"? Okay.

Edit: 2 in 15 years. NFL's elite for sure.

It amazes me how Bronco fans can try to talk shit to us about the playoffs.

You're 2-6 in the playoffs since Elway retired and you act like you're the shit. You have almost 3x as many blowout playoff losses than wins in that time.

The only reason you didn't get blown out against Baltimore was because your returner had 2 amazing TD returns.

So keep banging that drum, I guess.

The 1 st round is mostly based on measurables. You know why? Because guys that fit a certain profile have the highest rate of success. Fans love to bring up guys like Brady, Montana, Wilson.......but those guys are by far.....the exception. I'm sure it's been posted here, but the washout rate for 3rd rounders and 6th rounders is quite high. I'm sure it's even higher for QBs in those rounds. For every 1 Brady or Wilson, there must be 100 washouts.
