From the annals of former Chiefs I desperately DO NOT miss:

Quote:
Tyson Jackson played his worst-graded game of the season against Baltimore and didn't offer much assistance to the Falcons' defense in either run support or pass rush, including a penalty he was called for. Jackson only played 37 snaps but did collect two stops and a QB hurry. Previously known as a rock-solid run defender, the $25 million dollar man has yet to earn a dollar of his lucrative contract, making little difference on the field
Per PFF.

Playing half the snaps? Making no impact? Zero passrush? Unspeakably huge price tag?

That's our TJax!™

I defended him upon us drafting him, back when I was less immersed in the Draft, had less of my own voice in looking at prospects, and trusted the """GM of the Decade""" in Scott Pioli. I never apologized for what he was after a season, when it became clear that he was not going to live up to the hype, but I did reliably argue that he was valuable in run defense -- which he clearly was, for us at least.

I did angle for the Chiefs to re-sign him if they could at a basement-level pricetag similar to what we pay DeVito.
