They rocked up until Living on the Edge, then went downhill. I'm a huge Aerosmith fan and their last album was so bad I listened to it twice and was mad I paid for it.
I personally love Seasons of Wither. But as far as more mainstream songs, I've always had a soft spot for Angel.

Even with low expectations, it sucked. Sucked so bad I was pissed. Some songs would start out great, then go into some overproduced crap. Despite that, they are still great live. |

There's tons of deep cuts I love, and I know you're not supposed to pick a hit, but I still think Sweet Emotion is awesome.

A ridiculously wealthy and successful cover band but a cover band nonetheless. Backing tracks. |

I really liked "Pump" from the late 80s. I think thats the best thing they did during their comeback era.

I'm not the biggest Aerosmith fan, but I'd have to go with "Walk This Way."

Don't wanna miss a thing is sappy, but it's perfectly paced for hill climbing on your bicycle.
Aerosmith is the quintessential band that you like and recognize the talent of without being passionate about. Steven Tyler has one of the best voices in rock, but they'll never be Led Zeppelin or Pearl Jam, maybe a funkier Van Halen.

But I was never a big Aerosmith fan. Way too into Zeppelin and the Beatles at the time. Love In An Elevator should NEVER have been recorded, according this guy. |

Its this song and its not even close, couldnt quite do all of the solo work but I used to rock the HELL outta this one on guitar... a greasy, grimy, gritty ode to what else, sex... powerhouse stuff.

I like several of their songs, I'd probably choose between Dream On and Rag Doll depending on my mood.
