McNabb thinks Cassel can fit in Reid's system

http://www.kansascity.com/2013/02/11...an-fit-in.html

Former Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb, now an analyst for NFL Network, believes Matt Cassel can fit in former Eagles coach Andy Reid’s system with the Chiefs.

And, said McNabb, Cassel could be the right one to help bring along a young passer in a season in which the draft is lacking in elite quarterbacks worthy of the first pick in the draft.

"It's kind of hard to judge,” McNabb said of Cassel on NFL Network’s Total Access. “In the last couple of years, he's had a lot of injuries which have put him off the field and the team hasn't been that good. If you look back at his Pro Bowl year, he was able to spread the ball around, get Dwayne Bowe the ball and he also had an attack in the run game that really helped him out in so many ways.

“But if you go back to his injuries, he has rib injuries, his throwing hand, two concussions in the last couple of years. His record since 2009 hasn't been that great...One thing you look at Matt Cassel, is this an opportunity to utilize his experience to bring up a young quarterback?

“In this draft, there aren't any quarterbacks that are worthy of going as early as that No. 1 pick. So if you decide to go and wait for the second or third round, you can utilize Matt Cassel to be your guy to warm things up to give that young guy an opportunity to get ready."

well that is a good point. but still, do you not notice the bumbling idiots Jamaal has taken the field with, or is it just that one QB you notice.

Jamaal is one of the most productive RBs OF ALL TIME, behind those "bumbling idiots".

You're not helping your argument.

And I already mentioned TWO QBs, so obviously you can't read.

Well, you're wrong, again.

So, so wrong.

Shit, that comeback in New Orleans doesn't happen if Albert doesn't play at a high level during CRUCIAL moments in the 4th quarter and overtime.

And then there's all of 2010 and 2011...lots of wins where we won in the 4th quarter.

I mean man, you've been exposed in this thread for being a total doofus.

you and your goddamn stats need to learn more about the game of football. The Chiefs can't get anything going. not in the first qrtr, not in the 2nd, and I'll be goddamned not in crunch time. Lou Zares until further notice. and not from your retarted ass.
Wow, you are so far off base with this post it isnt funny.

This teams not winning in a given quarter had exactly JACK and SQUAT to do with Albert... between the clown college coaching and historically terrible QB play, the love child of Anthony ****ing Munoz and Willie Roaf couldnt have made enough of a difference to win.

I thought you were starting to make sense around here from time to time, but blaming Branden Albert for our woes takes you all the way back to square one... YOU ARE WRONG... quit letting your pride dig you deeper into this ridiculous mess.

13 - 3. done. Vermeil is a great man and a terrific football coach.

It's not just one guy when shit like this goes on.

Look at Pollard. He got his championship. Here, he did not.

It takes a lot more than one guy.

You're nearing Blackbob levels of idiocy.
